Demigod matchmaking/filtering system.

I really think something like this needs to be in place. I've played several games in "noob only" servers, where people ranked like 19 and 36, etc are joining. It's bullshit, but apart from alt-tabbing out to check their ranking when they join the lobby, there's nothing to be done about it, and after doing that a couple times, demigod locks up. This ends up pitting me against ridiculously high ranked players, who stomp me from the start. I don't learn anything from it, I don't know what favor items they have, just that I can't touch them.

YA hopefully in 1.2 they will show wins/loss in the game lobby. That should help alot.

Grab a screenshot of these highly ranked players and post it in the hall of shame. In the meantime, I recommend playing in windowed mode and checking stats if you have concerns.

I find the Xfire program is quite useful for checking ranks. We use it for voip, but it's got a nifty little overlay where you can bring up a web browser without alt-tabbing out of the game. Check it out. The command is like... Scroll Lock + W while you're running xfire. Then just escape to banish the overlay.
